Online Executive Overview Session (EOS)

The implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the Philippines as an effort to curb the threats of COVID-19 has resulted to suspension all forms of mobility, physical activities and most business operations. Indeed, the negative impacts spread across health and medical concerns, economic stability and social welfare. A lot of private and public entities are forced to activate contingency plans and proactively seek solutions to reduce the severity of risks that they are facing and will be dealing with in the next few weeks or months. Hence, it is key that organizations are equipped with the thinking and tools to better understand the situation at hand and devise the appropriate responses both for the short-term and long-term.

Initially, RT&Co. SPI’s scheduled Executive Overview Session (EOS) was cancelled due to the situation. However, we believe that it is in these trying times that we need to remain steadfast, vigilant and forward-looking. It is important for organizations to keep on innovating to stay afloat despite uncertainties and continuously protect and promote the interests of their organization, their people and the community that they are part of. Similarly, it is equally significant for individual employees to maintain a sense of normalcy in their everyday routines through continuous learning and to be empowered to support their organizations in effectively responding to daily operational concerns.

Thus, RT&Co. SPI will be conducting a Special Online Executive Overview Session with the aim of sharing valuable insights on how strategic thinking and systematic and creative thinking can help organizations and individuals thrive amid the COVID-19 crisis. This is a free event which will be hosted via Zoom Video Conferencing.

Strategic Thinking:

Preparing for the Future Ahead Amid the COVID-19 Crisis

Overview:

The COVID-19 took the world by storm causing thousands of deaths, inducing millions of losses and leaving a lot of businesses, communities and individuals highly vulnerable to physical, social and economic threats. While positive news on patient recoveries and zero to low incident of new viral infections give hope, the possibility of COVID-19 from persisting for a few more months is undeniable – a scenario which could lead to difficult strains to a lot of organizations. Thus, while real-time responses to current developments of the situation are vital, organizations must not lose sight on what lies ahead. This is where awareness on future trends and analysis of its implications play a vital role. Anticipating the best case and worst-case scenarios and how the company will act on them can determine how fast and better it can bounce back. These will be important guides in making deliberate and strategic decisions especially in allocating the organization’s resources and choosing the right opportunities.

Join us and we will share with you the importance of looking at the future dimensions of the COVID-19 crisis and how your organization can be better prepared for it.

Empowering the Whole Organization:

Decision Making in Times of Crisis

Overview:

In an extremely stressful and chaotic environment, the ability of an organization to quickly resolve issues and act decisively often determines how well they can minimize, if not eliminate the effects of existing or imminent risks. However, it is in these times when overload can happen among senior executives with the overwhelming and accumulating issues at hand. Before a problem at the top level gets resolved, another one emerges on the ground. Therefore, it is of high value to mobilize and leverage on strengths of identified teams who can provide relevant and timely information essential for data analysis and risk assessment. When people in other operational streams are capacitated to quickly and effectively resolve issues even in high pressure, they can better aid in the decision making of the upper management and contribute in preventing other potential problems to occur.

Join us and learn how successful collaboration across all levels of the organization can be achieved in dealing with situations in times of crisis.
